Producer, DJ and Mix Engineer Cid d Kid has produced and engineered on projects for artists Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Mos Def, Snoop Dogg, Trina, Raekwon, Talib Kweli, Ski Beatz, The Disco Biscuits, UK’s R&B Star - Terri Walker amongst others.
From a very young age, Cid d Kid developed a passion for the art of sound. He was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and later moved to South Florida to pursue a degree in Commercial Music and International Business. Shortly after, he then moved to New York to obtain an Audio Engineer Degree and stayed in the city to begin his professional musical career. Having influences from all kinds of music, he always describes that there isn’t bad music, just bad songs. Although he has produced all types of music, his true inclination is working on club music projects as he enjoys producing and remixing the vibe that ultimately get’s people on the dance floor.
Cid d Kid has mixed and mastered hit albums such as Pilot Talk and Pilot Talk II from rap artist Curren$y which debuted at number 39 on the Billboards 200 Charts and number 2 on iTunes; the 24 hr Karate School album featuring top hip hop artists including The Cool Kids, Jim Jones, Wiz Khalifa, Jay Electronica, Camp Lo, Tabi Bonney, Joell Ortiz, Jean Grae and many others which earned solid notoriety in the US and Japan. Pilot Talk, Pilot Talk II and the 24 hr Karate School productions were considered one of the best Hip Hop albums of 2010 by Pitchfork TV, Kevin Nottingham, ...Ology.
Dubbed the fastest engineer in NYC, 2011 follows with the release of many great albums including MURS's, 24 Hour Karate School II, Locksmith's, Tabi Bonney's etc. Cid d Kid serves as head engineer for Damon Dash's DD172/BluRoc label.
Cid d Kid lives in New York City where he manages Sweet Sound Studios located in the East Village which is the home where he produces and remixes all of his projects. He is currently working on his solo project called “A Thousand Miles”.
Lately teamed up with House Legend Todd 'The God' Terry and placed his anticipated single 'Slaves to the Beat' on Todd Terry's Studio Session Album. The song has been released worldwide as a single plus a video has been shot. Also released Pop star Natalia Flores 'Dumb' Cid D Kid Paradise Club Mix, both available on Beatport, Juno, Traxsource, iTunes, Amazon etc etc.

Specially after receiving Pitchfork's approval for 2 Best Hip Hop albums of 2010. Cid d Kid has mixed and mastered a wide range of albums and singles for many genres bouncing from Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, House, Reggae, Reggaeton, Rock, World and many more.
